Thursday Oct 28	We received an email today that they received our papers that we send via mail 2 1/2 weeks ago for our Visas. Wow this went a lot faster then we were thinking. Now we are working on our wave 3 of paperwork to do.
Wednesday Oct 27	Jessica and I will be at the Mission Fest in Montreal on November 5-7. Be sure to visit the New Tribes Mission of Canada booth. See you there!
Monday Aug 9	We just celebrated this past Saturday our 11th anniversary. We went to Canada's Wonderland (without the kids!). And I also uploaded some new pictures!
Thursday Aug 5	Hi Everyone, we just got Internet at home!! Everything is going well. We are starting slowly our partnership development and are already in the process for our papers to move to PNG. Lots of our friends moved to PNG in the past weeks. Saturday is our 11th anniversary to Jess and I and we are leaving tomorrow for the night and are going to Canada's Wonderland Saturday (yeah! :). We will post pictures next week! Have a great weekend.
Wednesday Jun 30	Sorry for not updating this before. We are moving tomorrow to the house beside our church. We won't have internet until I figure something good and not too expensive. :) We will have pictures to upload when we come back online (like our new "home" for our last year in Canada). By the way we started the steps for our move to PNG next July (yes because school start at the end of July, we would like to move before school start for the kids). So far everuthing is going well with the steps and paperwork. We will keep you informed when we have internet again.
Tuesday Jun 1	This was my 2nd day of work. I should be working for around 6 months saving for our big trip over the ocean and then focus 100% on partnership development (mostly in Quebec at this time). Also Jessica's parents came to pass a few days with us today.
Friday May 28	We just want to say thank you to all of you that came to our graduations, it was a great encouragement for us! My parents, Jessica's parents and also our pastor from Quebec made it to our graduation also!
Thursday May 27	Today we graduated from New Tribes Mission of Canada. 5 years ago we decided to go into the training to become missionaries! The next year will be a time for us to get ready to go to Papua New Guinea (PNG): To get the paperwork done and to get support to be able to go next summer. In the next year, we will be visiting friends and churches to present what we are planning to do. Also I got a full time job for 6 months. I will be starting Monday.
Monday May 10	Lydia has strep throat and will stay home tomorrow too :(
Sunday May 9	Happy Mothers Day!
Saturday May 8	Nico played soccer in town today in the rain (almost snow...). It was a pretty cold day for soccer.
Friday May 7	Lydia was sick at school today.
Thursday Apr 15	We are having a class that includes most of everything we have learn in the past 2 years. It takes a lot of our time. I think one of the busiest class so far.
Wednesday Apr 14	Yeah, I added some pictures on our websites, something that I wanted to do for a long time. I started our newsletter, you should get it soon hopefully.
Sunday Apr 11	Wow snow again this morning, weird year, so warm and then so cold....
Sunday Apr 4	We had a really good Easter weekend. Lots of friends, good time outside (with the warm weather) and good meal on Sunday with Chris & Karine and Karen & Mike.
Sunday Mar 21	I (Nico) is going to NTBI (Bible Institute) in Jackson today with some students of the the school here to present the Durham MTC (Missions Training Center). I will come back Tuesday. Jessica's trun to have the kids for a few days. My parents are leaving today too.
Thursday Mar 18	Today Nico's parents are coming to visit for a few days.
Wednesday Mar 10	I had to put the snow mobile away today because there is not enought snow. :(
Monday Mar 8	Today Zach turned 6 years old. We went to Chucky Cheese for his birthday with his cousins. He really enjoyed his day (Lydia and Jeremie too!)
Thursday Feb 25	Wow it is really mild ouside since a few days and the snow is melting already...
Sunday Feb 21	Jess came back. It went really well for me and Jess also. I had a really good time with my kids and still had time to keep the house clean :)
Friday Feb 19	Jessica is leaving tonight to a Ladies retreat with our church for the weekend. I will take care of the 4 kids for the weekend!!!!
Sunday Feb 14	I had lots of problems with my computer so I formatted it. Not a fun job but always good to do after a few years :) I also installed Windows 7. We will see how that goes.
Sunday Jan 17	Our kids have been sick since a week or so now, one after the other. Lydia was sick this past weekend and now Justin is. We praise God that the kids didn't get sick too often last year.
Saturday Jan 2	Happy New Year! We just go back safely today from Quebec. We are starting school this Monday.
Saturday Dec 19	We traveled to Quebec today. It was a beautiful drive. The gas is 10 cents higher but the temperature is 10C lower! :)
Monday Dec 7	It is our last week of school already. Three more days of Thai!!! Lydia and Zach have school until Dec. 18. We are planning to go to Quebec for 2 weekes after our kids are out of school.
Saturday Dec 5	Today we went we our Language Helpers to a Thai Restaurant in Collingwood (an hour away from Durham). We had a good experience with the food and with them talking Thai to a lady there.
