Each couple or team will learn a language for the next 5 weeks to practice how we would learn a language not yet written (since New Tribes Missions focuses on tribes not yet reach). After a few days of Sound and Symbols we discovered that we can do a lot more sound than the normal english/french sounds...and there is a lot more to learn! We cleaned around the building you see in mostly all the videos of the Tornado destruction in Durham. Some damage on the academy building but everyone is safe. Lots more damage in Durham. I will upload pictures this weekend. We had 24h without power. We did tree cleanup all day! He will start PTC (work on the campus) next Monday for a week before school starts on the following Monday. As of today we are part of New Tribes Missions Canada. This means that we get some 'benefits' (I forgot the details, I will need a reminder on this before I give any details) but also any gifts sent to NTMC on our behalf can be tax deductible. The kids really love Justin. Laso we have crazy weather now who doesn't know if it should be warm or cold outside. This morning we had +9C and tonight we have -15C + lots of freezing wind. Jessica's parents are coing tonight to help Jessica have a break. I (Nico) went back to work since this past Monday.
